Colne Valley Pit, AKA Glory Lake.
This is a new water that we have had our eyes on over the last couple of seasons, having heard some rumours and seen some fish we decided to give it a go for the spring and see how things turn out, then make a decision for the rest of the year. Early results were exceptional to say the least with 12 different 30's landed to 37lb+ and plenty of back up 20's. The average team weight was 27lb+ with Dan the man averaging 28lb 14oz per fish. We think their are more big carp to come out with a couple of surprises rumoured to be colossal. That's all I can say at the moment, I'd like to say more but can't for fear of upsetting my friends who angle there. Put it this way, big lake, no pressure, uncaught 30's and almost certainly bigger! Gold dust these days, anyway enjoy the pics. All carp were caught on the exceptional K1 and 1st Blood mixes.

The boss has been doing his bit for the team and has landed The Boxer at 34lb 8oz, The Boxer has not been out for a couple of seasons, but fell to a 1st Blood boilie. Next out was a new PB for Dean in the shape of a very nice looking Grass Carp of truly epic proportions! And to top that he took Shoulders off the top at 43lb 10oz.
